From Montréal–Trudeau International Airport (YUL)

 

Montréal–Trudeau International Airport is located approximately 20 km from the Palais des congrès. The journey to downtown Montréal usually takes around 25 to 45 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.

Please note that there is currently no direct metro connection from Montréal–Trudeau International Airport to downtown Montréal. However, there are several convenient options to reach the Palais des congrès.

🚉 By public transport: airport bus + metro

The most affordable public transport option is the 747 YUL Airport/Downtown shuttle bus, operated by STM. The bus operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and connects Montréal–Trudeau Airport with downtown Montréal.

Option 1: Via Lionel-Groulx Metro Station (recommended)

  1. After collecting your luggage, follow the signs for the 747 bus outside the arrivals area.
  2. Take the 747 bus towards Lionel-Groulx Metro Station.
  3. At Lionel-Groulx Station, transfer to the metro:
    • Take the Orange Line towards Montmorency.
    • Exit at Place-d’Armes Station.
  4. The Palais des congrès is directly accessible from the station via indoor connections.

Estimated travel time: approximately 40–60 minutes.

Option 2: Via downtown Montréal

  1. Take the 747 bus from YUL Airport towards downtown Montréal.
  2. Exit at Berri-UQAM Metro Station.
  3. Take the Orange Line towards Côte-Vertu.
  4. Exit at Place-d’Armes Station and walk to the Palais des congrès.

Estimated travel time: approximately 45–70 minutes, depending on traffic.
