CAOS
Serving over 150,000 orthopaedic surgeons in China, the Chinese Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons (CAOS) has become one of the largest and most influential medical associations in China. It was registered under the Chinese Medical Doctor Association (CMDA) as a national, voluntary, nonprofit professional association. It has been approved by China's Ministry of Health and Family Planning Commission and officially registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs.
With the most comprehensive orthopaedic resources and leading experts, CAOS continuously improves professional competence and advances medical knowledge in orthopaedic society. Its key responsibilities include continuing medical education, surgeon accreditation, examination, and certification, and physicians' practice regulation.
CAOS has established 22 subspecialty societies. It holds a variety of domestic and international education programs and provides CAOS fellowship opportunities. Youth Working Committee has also been established for the training of young orthopaedic surgeons.
CAOS has official continuing education platform allinmd.cn which is a very efficient and effective method to communicate with its member surgeons. Educational resources, such as surgical videos and articles, cases are updated and pushed to members every day. The user base grows rapidly due to the rich contents, interactive features and convenient access.
The mission of CAOS is to protect the rights and interests of the practicing orthopaedic specialists, helping them to complete future continuing education and to be engaged in work. CAOS is committed to be the most practical continuing education platform and professional orthopaedic society.
